To get your pre registered students in the system:
From the toolbar go to: Testing & Tracking > User Registration
Set up your record names in the order and with the storage names you want.
- Enter in all the pre registered names.
- If you have a lot of pre-registered names you can upload the names from a CSV file (spreadsheet).
- From Testing & Tracking > User Registration set up your record names in the order you want and add in a couple sample names to make sure the file works the way you want.
- Use Excel or another spreadsheet program to create the bank of learners.
- Save the spreadsheet name bank as "userlist.txt" even though these names are actually in a CSV format.
- Upload the userlist you've just created via ReadyGo WCB: under Testing & Tracking > Transfer Test Files. There is a check box option to upload and overwrite the userlist on the server.
- When you transfer the server test files, you will select the www/cgi-bin folder as the destination. The Web Course Builder software picks up the course name, and will actually deposit the files in the www/cgi-bin/readygo/course_name folder.
