6.9 Why Test Learners?
  1. There are a few reasons that organizations test learners.
    1. To know what the learner knows
    1. To ensure that the learners know the material.
    1. To help learners remember the material
  1. Tests should be provided based on an organizations goal.
  1. If your goal is to know what the learner knows - ask clear questions in test.
  1. To ensure that the learner knows the material (e.g. for certification).
    1. At the end of the chapter ask the test questions again.
    1. At the end of the course ask the questions again.
    1. By the second time the learner should have no problem getting the answer correct. You have now met your goal to indemnify your organization that an employee was presented with corporate policy and understand the policy.
It's True! It's True! Use a teaching tip, if the student doesn't know the answer give them the answer with feedback. Make them retake the question so that you can reinforce the correct answer.
