After you generate a web site, you need to transfer the finished web site to a web server so visitors can access the content.
You can use ReadyGo Mobile to transfer your web site to any web server you to which you have access.
Note: You need "write" privileges on the server in order to upload your content for publication.
- To transfer your web site choose Publish > Transfer.
- If you plan to share the source files for your web site (.wct and .wcg) files, these can be transferred also. Anyone with a copy of ReadyGo Mobile can read the source files, edit them, and generate the web site. This allows the person receiving the file to edit the web site. Note that most users will want access to the generated site files rather than to the source (.wct/.wcg) files.
- If you want to share files with another web site developer, you can e-mail the source (.wct and .wcg) files. Advise the recipient that they need to save both files to the same folder on their local computer.
It's True! A web server is a computer that can be accessed by employees (Intranet), selected customers or partners (Extranet), or the general public (Internet).
