3.1 Adding Forms/Surveys, and Self-Assessments
A form/survey page is a place where you can solicit feedback or information from your audience. For example, you can ask them to answer a few questions about what they are looking for. The question types supported by ReadyGo Mobile are the kind that are easy to answer using the small display and possibly difficult keyboard on mobile devices.

Each form/survey page can contain as many as 100 questions, however ReadyGo recommends including 10 or fewer on each page. In order to collect the responses to your form/survey questions, you will need an appropriate module on your server. ReadyGo has a "Forms Catcher" available. This module has been tested with content bult by ReadyGo Mobile.

A self-assessment is similar to a survey, however points are awarded based on the visitor's answers. For multiple-selection questions, the points awarded are based on the sum of the answers provided (A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on). For multiple choice questions, the points awarded is based on the selected answer (A=0, B=1, C=2, and so on). The points awarded for preference scale questions works the same as multiple choice questions.

  1. You can decide whether a form is "required" or "optional." A required form is displayed as the next page for a visitor accessing your web site. An optional form is accessed through a link on the bullet page. That is, "required" places the form/survey in the linear navigation path, whereas an "optional" one is accessed as a separate branch in the navigation.
Tip Tip You can customize the standard words presented on forms by clicking Form Labels and Text from the Forms menu.
