- A Step-by-Step element provides visitor with a task broken down to its simplest components. This helps simplify complicated concepts or procedures. For example, if you present a movie of a certain procedure, it is very effective to also present a step-by-step page where a snapshot and an explanation of each step is provided. The end-user can then ensure that they understand each step, or can print out the page. With the movie, it is very difficult to stop at each step.
