      1. Mastery is a number you give the test to identify how many correct questions the student needs to pass a test.
        1. For example, you may create a test with 10 questions and the student needs eight questions to pass or receive a certificate of completion. The mastery score will be eight.
        1. This graphic shows a test with six questions. To receive a mastery, the student must answer four questions correctly.

It's True! It's True! If there are four questions on a test, three questions may have a weight of one while one question may have a weight of three. The student can pass the test if the mastery score is three, the student gets three one point questions wrong and the one three point question correct.
Tip Tip Survey questions are not graded and are not included in a mastery score.
      3.3 Feedback
Feedback provides you with a methodology to provide students with feedback based on their answer.
        1. Most question types let you supply the student with feedback based on whether or not they got the question right or wrong.
        1. For multiple choice questions, you may provide feedback if the student got the answer correct or based on their choice.
        3.4 Configuration
Test configuration provides course creators with control over student interactions.
        1. Course creators may choose to limit the time a student can take a test

          1. If a student masters a test, a course creator can choose to send the student to a choice of locations including the next page, end of chapter, or by typing a URL to a new course.
          1. If a student does not master a test, a course creator can choose to send the student to a choice of locations including the beginning of the chapter or by typing a URL they can be sent to a different course.
        1. Course creators can choose to save partial tests. If the student leaves the test before completing it, their choices will be saved.
        1. Track results - course creators can choose to use test as a non tracked exercise or save test results.
        1. Include in certificate - Choose if you want this test's score used to receive a certificate.

Test questions with multiple correct answers can now be graded.
          1. You can set up test question scoring globally for all the tests in the course, for each test, or for individual test questions. Different options of partial credit can be given for questions with more than one correct answer (such as Multiple Selection and Matching Column).
              3.7 Pooling
              1. Pooling lets you choose how many questions you want displayed. For example, you create 30 test questions and students see 10 questions.
              1. Pooling can be used on a stand alone course, with ReadyGo SST, or with your LMS.

                  1. If you are using the ReadyGo Server-Side Testing module to store your test results, continue reviewing the remaining sections of this chapter for more information.
                1. If you are not using an LMS or ReadyGo Server-side Testing to store and track your test results, you can choose to have test results emailed. From the Storage/Grading Method list, choose Results through e-mail.
