7.5 A Limited View
  1. Unfortunately lots of LMSs and authoring tools have a very limited reading and implantation of a SCO
    1. This in turn limits what can be done by course creators.
    1. Specifically many developers have decided that a SCO must be a single page of content.
  1. By defining a SCO as a page, course creators are forced to chunk their content down to a page.
  1. This creates a terrible experience for the learner
    1. It forces the learner to go from SCO to SCO when they move from page to page.
    1. When an LMS handles delivery it can slow down the experience
      1. Every time a page is requested the LMS needs to close the current page and launch the next page
      1. Some LMS can take up to 20 seconds to deliver a SCO
