  11. Can I use ReadyGo Mobile to create a web site that can be viewed by a PC-based browser?
  12. Answer
Yes, ReadyGo Mobile can be used to create a web site that can be viewed by a PC-based browser. You can choose from one of the dozens of provided appearance templates or create your own.

  13. What if I want to create content that can be viewed by both PC-based and mobile platforms?
  14. Answer
There are a few differences between standard PC browser content and content that can be viewed on mobile devices. The amount of content on a page needs to be considered carefully. Generally, less content on your page is desirable when creating for mobile delivery compared to standard web site delivery. The skin/template/look and feel of a web site intended for a mobile device should be graphically simple. Sizes of embedded graphics should be much smaller for mobile display. With ReadyGo Mobile, you can choose different templates to apply to your content, and produce either one version that works in the various delivery environments or generate multiple versions of the same content. When generating multiple versions, the layout can be optimized for those environments, and the audience can be directed to the best version for their needs.

  15. Do you have recommendations for how to best prepare my content for delivery on a mobile device?
  16. Answer
ReadyGo Mobile will take care of the layout portion of your site. Content may need to be rearranged for best delivery in mobile environments: See tips on what content works best for mobile devices...

  17. Can I turn my PowerPoint presentation into a website for a mobile device?
  18. Answer
ReadyGo Mobile has a copy/paste from PowerPoint. This turns PowerPoint titles and bullets into ReadyGo titles and bullets. Generally, though, PowerPoint content by itself is not sufficient to provide the end-user with the information that they seek. Please review our authoring guide for a more comprehensive discussion.
