Organize your content before creating a course
Create a course outline and separate the content into logical chapters.
Keep the course length less than ten chapters. If the course is too long, students will be overwhelmed. If you have more than ten chapters, consider breaking the material into two courses such as an introduction and an advanced course.
Within each chapter, break the material into subtopics - one per subject. These subtopics will be turned into bullet pages.
Each chapter should have on average five to 15 bullet pages. If you have more than 25 bullet pages, the chapter is too long. It is better to break the material into several chapters.
Help students learn by framing the task. Write a one to two sentence definition for each task. Create bullet points describing the task.
If necessary, provide more detail for each subject in a multiple-paragraph article.
